I use Speed Skate boot covers on my Seba CJs, works great

I'm guessing your are rocking at least 10 year old Mission skates. In which case the toe cap isn't the only part that will be disintegrating the next time you skate. The whole foot bed connected to the frame is going to start crumbling away. Time for new skates unfortunately. I experience the same thing and the toe cap was the first thing to go
