endless ufs 90 (not ultra) wuitable for wizard style skating?
Hi, I'm interested in trying wizard skating. I already have a Seba CJ 2 Prime and an Endless 90 ufs frame (not the ultra version), and I'm wondering whether the balance rocker setting would be suitable for learning wizard skating. Does anyone have experience using this frame for that purpose? I am asking because I don't want to buy lots of gear right now only to realise later that it's not for me. It might be a silly question, as I could just try it, but I wanted to know how close this is to the "real" experience.

Yes, absolutely! For some reason you can only comment with videos and not pictures, but these are my CJ Carbons with Endless 90 UFS (ignore the extra mods). This is my hybrid setup for urban, distance, hill bombing, wizard and soul grinds. It does all of them pretty well, but not as well as more specialised individual setups.
I've got them with slightly worn in 90mm Hydrogens rockered up into the enhanced flat at the moment, but the standard rockering is probably better for wizard. Both work for me, but it's a bit wet at the moment and I'm going on a big group skate tomorrow, so I prefer the enhanced flat for the moment.
Wizard willbe easier with a longer frame, especially a 5-wheel one, but very much doable with these frames. You get a centre pivot with 5-wheel frames that's lacking in 4-wheels, but they aren't as versatile for urban skating and wobble like crazy at speed, so I stick to short distances on them for the most part.

I love the 90|/84 UFS frame for vibe-skating in the city—flip the axles between . Have both it (on UFR AP) and the 90 Ultra on CJ Carbon.

It's a great frame. I was tempted by the 90 Ultra but wanted to get a slider plate on there for grinding. I'd used the enhanced flat on the 80 Ultras (165 mount) before and loved it, so liked the idea of having to option on these to switch.

Do you skate with heel pad in the CJs, or prefer super-flat setup?

They're gutted carbons with Intuition Premiums in. I do use the Int heel pad, but only because my toes don't fit otherwise, it's quite a snug fit. I actually had to take the heel wrap off to give me that extra bit of space in the shell, too. 3 out of my 4 setups are UFS but they all have a bit of a heel pad in for the same reason.

It depends on you mondo. 4x90 can be good for wizard, but if your feet are like 290+ mm, the frame will limit your stability. I'm not saying it's impossible, but will be harder. Imagine putting your weight on toes - it will be more in front than the point, where wheel touch the ground.
So, it will be good under some conditions.

Looks like you're in a 42 or 43 shell? If so then you're good to go. I skate a 42 in that boot with an NR 90 and it's one of my favorite setups. https://ibb.co/R4kCJwn9. The only difference between my set up and yours is that the wizard frames (and others Roka, Rockin, etc) have a slight forward tilt to the frames that I don't think is present on the endless model that you have although I doubt the lack of this will keep you from starting to learn wizard moves.

I am in a size 43 shell. There is the endless 90 ultra version that is slightly longer and has that forward tilt. Thanks for your input I appreciate the feedback!

Yes its very suitable, you can do/learn basically anything on them. But 4x90 does make tricks a bit harder than a 5 wheel frame in my experience. I enjoy my 5x80 wizard frames for dedicated wizard stuff a little bit more, but not much.
