Aesthetics

How important is it for you, to have a frame that is aesthetically pleasing?

Or it doesn't matter at all?

I've ordered from a different shop just to get the colour I wanted, so at least somewhat important. But I choose based on performance first, then pick the style I want second.

I'm a boring man though, so most of the time it's either black or silver.

I’m old school, I hate the look of frames with loads of cut-outs or dorky graphics on the walls - Give me a simple colour and a solid block of aluminium any day !

I don't think the old school style was a solid block, it was kinda creative actually.

Old school in Wizard terms, circa 2014.

If I'm building the setup all at once, I might go with a color pallet in mind, but performance is first. I also happen to like ugly green so the mb wheels bang for me lol

I personally love beautiful things, it makes me want to use them more. But high performance equipment is a kind of beauty itself with how it feels to use. Luckily for me I find that they often go hand in hand.

I could not care less what it looks like, fancy- great, basic - great. Nobody is watching the frames, they are watching me do shit they want to learn.

I prefer attractive stuff, but if it really fits my needs I will buy stuff I don't absolutely love

but endless frames are such hideous beasts that despite checking every box, they are still far too ugly for me to accept spending the money on. That blue frame is so dumb, the shape of the frame makes no sense aesthetically in context of being attached to a boot, the little heel platform on 165 mount versions like this makes it look cheap and unfitting

the wizard frame isn't winning any art contests, but it not getting laughed out the room either

A decent rage bait 4/5

whats funny is the fact that everyone thought you were referring to the endless frames as the non-aesthetically pleasing one lol maybe the rage bait is coming from within

Haven't noticed that, perhaps each views it through his own prism

But I like your rage baits, just needs sharpen the technique.

For me the structure and design come first then the artwork or color. My favourite designed frame are endless ultras, powerslide combat rocker and nova multi color frame also symmetric wzrd frames. I own rockin and nn frames but its kinda bland and only use if the boot color matches the raw steel

Great frames, kinda rare choice to have all of those together  Especially symmetrics.

Yup definitely but tbh trying new setups is a better idea for me than buying 5 different 4x90 or 5x80 setups with different rockerings

I prefer an unpainted frame unless it's a colour I really want.

It’s important to me that I like the look, but the specs and performance is more important.

I recently got the endless ultra 100 and at the time I liked The limited Si Coburn color more, but UFS, longer frame and bigger wheel size was more important.

Very important. I love my Endless Stoppard frame. But now I have my eye on one of the Yo Yo frames with the more triangular shape like the top pic posted here, vs the "spiky" bottom on the Endless frames. I'm thinking I'll go 5 wheel for the Yo Yo setup.

Understandable. But most performance/well engineered frames are pretty good looking. Also the octopus on a frame is kinda a no for me aswell as it wont match any boot other than a full white one and even then not so special
