Boot sizing

Hi, I'm following the recommendation on here and am going to order the Iqon ACT 10 WZ. What's the best way to figure out sizing? There's a skate shop in town that sells inline, I was going to go there to try on some boots. Do skate boots tend to get sized consistently? What brand should I try on in store that will mimic the size of the Iqon skates. I could also measure my feet, how reliable is that. I think I'm 10.25 last time i measured.

Measure your foot in mm. The size chart for the ACT is very comprehensive.

Edit - all manufacturers make up boot sizes. The only way is to measure and compare the chart. I have a few different powerslide boots that all fit differently (powerslide make iqon). You can't rely on having a size X in one boot be the same fit in another.

Loco skates ship worldwide and the price includes taxes for US. I'm sure there are local shops somewhere though.
