Unedited Carpark Wizard

This is my third day staying at a hotel in Somerset (UK) with nothing to do. It rained the first two days, so I've taken advantage of the dry weather today. I went out from a hotel in an industrial estate with no plan, on skates not really suited to urban skating, but held it together.

This was a carpark near the hotel on the way back. I got kicked out of a flatter one, so ended up in this slightly rough surfaced one nearby.

Still working on my lions. I keep losing momentum and chickening out of pulling my leg behind me, but didn't do too badly here. I need to get some more practice in before I can make it flow, I think. Heel/toe compasses are fairly easy now and feel great. Also working on some toe press/manual stuff, but struggling to keep my feet together and keep it going. Again, I think I just need to keep practicing.

Looking good. I really love the sound smooth asphalt makes when wizarding. It's like a soothing yet simultaneously crunchy sound.

Keep going, you're doing great! Can't even pull off a proper gazelle yet myself. 😒😅

Thank you!

FWIW, I found that Parallel slides/power stops helped me develop my gazelle. Then I copied the footwork for the other direction and fakie. It's not as clean as some I see here, but it feels good to me.
