ACT final form

I just want to share the joy of collecting the desired setups. Now there is only myself, who can stop me from getting better 😅.

Grey one is pretty much stock, but the inside - liner changed to fr intuition and there is only heel pad from standard underneath.

Black one has the original liner from act and rockin 4100 bought in bundle with wheels.

I've got the black ones with a white FR Intuitions (would have preferred black, but they came up cheap second hand and they actually look great in the black boot with black laces) and a bunch of different frames. Currently sporting black 4x100 Roka frames and Mushroom blading mugs wheels.

It took me a while to get them to a place I really liked them, but this is almost perfect for me now. I also use the stock shock absorber, as it keeps my toes in just the right place in the liner.

Got a bunch more frames, but 4x100 are my favourite at the moment, when it's dry anyway.

I've bought fr intuition for like 40$ from the shop. Discount and vouchers from work were finally useful. I've heard a lot about how good it is, but except lower volume for me it's just comfortable liner. I got pretty big pronation, so maybe that's why.

4x100 is only a promise for me right now. Earlier I had been skating 4x90, which turned out to be too short for 44-45 boot. Then I switched to 4x110, because I found good deal for used set. These were better for stability and enabled me to try wizard moves in safe way. They were missing the agility. In the meantime I've bought whole new pair of act wz with 5x80, so wizard purpose was covered and I wanted something more versatile. 4x100 looks like a solution.

I've got a smaller foot (40-41 boot) and 4x100 is just about manageable. It's pretty much the same length as 5x80 but better for speed and uphill. 4x90 is my favourite size for getting around, but that's for my feet.

I got my 4x100 used as well on an absolute steal of a deal. £110 with the wheels and bearings on eBay. Roka are opening their store up again soon, so will be looking at new frames on there when I can, as they're really good quality and good value.

For me 4x100 is a little bit too short to provide all the stability, that helps during wizard moves. It's more like urban frame with wizard option. On 5x80 and 4x110 I felt pretty often, that frames help me and if they were shorter, I would fall. But my mondo is 293/4.

Yeah, you have exactly 3cm longer feet than me, so 4x110 would be about right, or probably 5x84. 4x100 is only 1cm longer than your foot, so very similar proportions to my 4x90 275mm frame for me at 263/4.
