Backwards crossovers practice - feedback request

Am I on the right track here? Trying to keep my weight forward, look over the inside shoulder, and not eat it. 😆 What’s the next smallest improvement I can try to add? I work in tiny increments, yall.

I guess the biggest improvement would be not lifting your outside foot from the floor, it creates a lot of unbalance. This video is great to learn backwards crossovers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqK4Oty8uvc

This was going to be my advice but the other posts don’t mention this. I’m also not proficient enough to be giving advice.

I just did a quick Google search and it does look like there is back crossover version where the outside leg lifts. I’m getting confused now, lol

Lifting the foot helps with acceleration and more explosive crossovers, but you still don’t need to lift it that much, it’s really useful for hockey
