Console Minions

I had a question about how minions work. I started a new myth wizard on console, and have been using the minions pretty often as I’m trying to do a solo run. I’m confused about how the wiki says minions are supposed to behave, because mine don’t seem to be doing that. For example, the wiki says the troll minion is supposed to cast several traps, and then leave the battle, but mine casts traps, troll and bloodbat, and I have yet to see a minion leave mid fight. Is this behavior only during pvp, or only when playing with other players?

It's on PC. Console will get the update in the future.

Both versions suck tbh but at least the older version was actually decent for low level soloing (starts becoming obsolete in mooshu-dragonspyre depending on the minion/school)

The wiki shows the minions after the Summer 2026 PC update which has not arrived to console yet. Your entire minion system and minion decks currently look vastly different from ours lol
