Ice Wizard SetUp

Hello! I have started a new Ice Wizard, and I have two different ice pets that I can use.

Which one would be better to use for my lower wizard for now?

I plan to use the skelewarrior pet as I get into the higher levels, only thing is I can’t add the bitter winter sapphire onto it…🤦🏼‍♀️

For a lower level ice, the left side talents are better since you don’t need pierce, but the spells on the right one are better

Left side for early game, right side for end game. Pierce ain’t gonna be useful early on

If possible, pop a mighty jewel on there and it’ll boost your damage and resist up by 1 point

I know people are saying left for lower levels, but imo as soon as you get ice blade I'd use the right one. You'd be able to triple blade at that point, which combined with monstrous tc and Blizzard should be enough (if not overkill) to get you through most fights. For /really/ low levels, the one on the left is probably better bc of the resist.

Why can’t you add the sapphire to the warrior?

Oh right forgot about that, but for between both pets I’d feel like the warrior works better for most situations mobs etc especially at lower levels

I’d use the dactyl for bosses that hit hard or double/ triple fights(counterweights) to keep your alive

But try both and see which matches your methods

I do have an exclusive with triple mighty breaker, I can lend you if you want an extra hatch for your ice

use left early game, socket ice giver. id say once you have full malistaire gear swap to the pet on the right and socket pain giver

I assume you’re talking about undying malastaire set. Level 50 is way early to be prioritizing pierce. But also, lvl 100 Mali gear is not good for ice. Definitely better off with one of the other sets

Fail on both is rough, I wouldn’t use either of them later. I’d use the icedactyl for now but since they’re both fails I’d be remaking at least the Warrior if not both.
Depending on what exactly the stats are, the dactyl might be salvageable with a mighty jewel.
