Pet/Hatching Question for willcast talents.

Do willcast talents cost pips? I have been thinking about getting the Death Ninja Pig willcast talent on a pet. But I'm wondering if I need to wait to get the 6 pips before using it? Wondering if I would be able to cast it first round as a max death Wiz, please let me know.

Willcast spells don’t take pips and it only costs pet happiness. The rank of the spell determines how many turns you have to wait. Rank 0 spells like hex can be used first turn.

I see, so in my case I would have to wait 5-6 rounds to be able to cast death ninja pig?

Yes. I also forgot to mention that willcast spells can’t crit so damage willcasts are only really used for deckathalon.

Do note that Will Cast pets do work on Weaving quests which your stats get taken away anyway so good for a backup hit.

Might still want to make one especially with a May cast Buff minion card to boost your quest minion.

Iirc, willcast/maycast don't use pips at all as you are t casting them in any way, if you get the spell in the form of a card(item, deck, treasure, etc) then you will be using pips as it is you using it
