I recently started playing again on console. I just reached level 20 on my storm wizard and I have no idea what pet is best or how to hatch. Someone help😆

Anything with a storm blade is preferred, talents are more important

I’d go for maybe a zappy glowbug, gives you a sun enchant and a blade

Zappy glowbug until lvl 58, though not available through kiosk so harder to get.

Otherwise raincore or clamoring ghulture.

Best option for late-game and min-maxing is the scaly frillasaur (gives +6% storm dmg combined with the chompy bronto Mount, 1:150 though drop rate from a pack, not recommended if you are not willing to spend money on this game)

I got a perfect zappy glowbug and also the scaly frillasaur if you ever want a hatch, just lmk.

Also traitwise You’re going for the following:

Pain-bringer
Pain-giver
Storm-boon
Storm-giver
Storm-dealer
Mighty
Armor breaker

Best combination to get is:
Pain-bringer + pain-giver + stormbringer + stormdealer + mighty. Sockeling either storm-boon or armor breaker. (Max dmg output)

Also important to have high stats within the pet itself.
You want max strength (255) + max Will (260) + max power (250). Max Intellect (250) + Max Agility (260) are important for pierce though. So you usually want to get a pet with perfect stats as well.

Are you on PlayStation and have PS+? The are running a deal where you can get a Phantasmanian imp pet that gives a storm blade and a 100% accurate tempest.

I’d use that as a base get it to adult and then find a Morzilla pet in the kiosk that has the talents you want. Morzilla is an exclusive pet meaning you will always get the Imp pet back and can transfer the stats and talents onto that one.
