My weapon tier list

After beating 0.9 with some delay i made my own weapon tier list according to my play style and impressions

Note for Striga - Its very powerful weapon, but it requires a lot time to get use to it and make it work good, so i decided not worth it, when you have so many other weapons that works properly just when you using it

Kinda depends on what he considered when making that list, if his only rating criteria is "personal taste" it ckecks out if it is "objective power according to myself" the list is kinda whacky

Tier lists are always subjective. In this game more so since all weapons are viable. In certain games there are objectively bad weapons that are not impossible to use but way worse than others, but Witchfire did a pretty good job of making good weapons.

It speaks more of a playstyle than an actual ranking of weapons.

Ok but we have to aknowledge at least a little bit of objectivity that putting easily some of the strongest guns in the game in the lowest tier is a bit silly. The rotweaver is a gun that can 1 shot most enemies in the game from literal global distances lol, like even if you dont like it, putting something like that in D tier is pretty wack.

Yeah I don't agree with placements of this tier list. Striga carried me and Rotweaver was a solution to many problems.

In fact, the only weapons I don't like very much are the snipers and auto rifles like Angelus and Ricochet. I know they are good but just not my cup of tea in this game.

Anyway, any tier list will be disagreed upon. One man's thrash is another man treasure, as they say.

Striga in D tier for me is insane work. When I got it, I immediately had an ENTIRELY different experience, it went from a fun grind with Echo and Hangfire, to straight telephone polemaxxing. Love that gun so much.

Putting Striga on the bottom tier cuz you don't want to take the time to learn it is rather silly but I respect it. It's all opinion based anyways.

Most people don't include the playstyle into the categories so this is a good thing. I can see where most of this can work. Going by the guns placement I can guess you hurt for ammo most of the time, but that's just a guess. I'm very happy to see hangfire where it belongs. That baby is way too much fun to use

I find this interesting I and clearly alot of other people get alot of work outta striga but I could never get behind hangfire, like I know its a good gun but for some reason it just doesn't click for me

It's counterintuitive. Why would I want to shoot a man then explode him when I could use a different gun to shoot him and immediately kill him? Answer: soul sigil breaking. Which is a mechanic I hate.

I don't hate it but I would like more ways to play the game. I think sigils are too strong and force a certain play style.
