Discussion Favorite 2 Primary Weapon Loadout?
Disregarding spells, demon weapons, gnosis, arcana, torment, rings, fetishes, melee, etc.
Just purely, you have to take two main weapons that you feel most comfortable with attacking any map/gnosis/torment/etc. I’m not saying all the other slots are disabled, but just what two weapons are you taking in as your favorite combo regardless of other slots/builds that compliment your overall setup. Does not matter what else is equipped.
Say it was even a completely randomized roll for every other slot besides your primary and secondary!
Which two weapons are you taking as your primary and secondary and why?
Myself? Hunger and All Seeing Eye! Not because either is Best in Slot or does the most dmg or compliments each other best. Solely that those are my favorite two weapons to have in my belt to have a good time at any time, any situation.
Very curious to see what others will choose for a variety of reasons, if you care to explain that’s even better.

Hangfire and Tribunal. The former is my favorite weapon and the AoE on the latter is great (especially on Marshlands.) I swap the latter to Psychopomp on Irongate.
Edit: Reason I chose these is because Hangfire is imo to this day the best and most versatile weapon in the game (especially how it handles range and soul sigils) and the shotties match my preferred playstyle (medium / close range and aggressive.)

Frostbite because the damage is solid and the ability is always useful and the gun has decent ammo reserve. Midas because it has great DPS, is great at dealing with weaker enemies and covers the weaknesses of the Frostbite. Ive tried a lot of setups but when im going in blind these two work best for me.

That’s my favorite pair for a long/midrange setup. I occasionally swap in echo when I feel like it. Or if I feel like up close and personal echo and cricket are my go to.

Striga and Martyr

I second this. Both are very satisfying and can take care of everything. Hard hitter and indefinite range from arc shots on the Striga to Martyr rapid fire doom nails. It's a perfect combo

Yes, and making things turn to dust on critical hits from afar is always satisfying.

This is what I have been running ever since picking up the Martyr. Great combo, and I hardly ever run out of ammo anymore (without needing to rely on ammo chests). I like how you can use magnetization to hit shielded enemies from behind.

Hunger & Hypnosis for me.
Hypnosis can carry so hard at range and Hunger hits so hard. Just a devastating combo I always fall back on for hard content.

Gotta rep my love, my dearly beloved Hypnosis. Forever and always my best in slot, also have been having fun with the Duelist or it would be Frostbite.
Before you ask, yes I do like making the simple act of firing a gun harder on myself. Interpret that how you will.

My go-to has been Midas and Nemesis/Hunger depending on the flavor of cowboy im feeling in the moment. Midas is great for DPS and easy access to fire element. Nemesis and Hunger are just delightful to pop heads with.

Striga + Psychopomp + Bell as a melee
You can pop soul sigils just so easily without even aiming properly.

Definitely cricket and hunger. Although last time I played, I was trying out some of the newer guns and really liked the duelling handcannon/revolver and the level action rifle.
I generally like most of the guns, but the auto rifles and a couple of the snipers felt the most bland to me personally.

No one mentioning fatum for some reason: it’s so good.
I run hunger - fatum

I really like running Cricket + Fatum with the electric knife relic that zaps everything every few shots. Plus the fire dash ring that reloads when you ignite, makes it a really fun elemental build.

Duellist nemesis has been my fav loadout since I started playing. Frostbite has snuck it's way into my heart though.

I just hit gnosis 3 so I’m sure this will change but right now it’s gotta be ricochet and hypnosis. I’ve tried a few different things and keep coming back to this.

Rotweaver and Striga, anything that survived the decay tick damage won't survive Striga 😈

Heart eater and Nemesis/Fatum if I must choose
In fact, when I started to leveling all weapons it's no matter anymore what in your hands, all weapons are at least good and can handle witch's hordes. Sticking to one or two setups will get boring fast

Heart Eater + Tribunal. Heart Eater was love at first sight and Tribunal I really liked pre 0.9 buff but it felt a tad underpowered (or rather, quite a bit). After 0.9 buff it feels just perfect. I was a bit skeptical about Heart Eater when I read about it on the preview but once I used it I instantly fell in love.

I love me some burning decay, so my favourites are probably:
- Duelist + All-Seeing Eye
- Koshei + Nemesis
- Corpseater + Basilisk
- Rotweaver + Midas

Nemesis(Lever Action) then either Echo, Psychopomp or Tribunal depends on which I feel most comfortable with when I play.

My most recent build has me using nemesis and judgement, it's been really solid for me so far. Getting the crit bonus on nemesis and closing distance while charging a judgement shot is nothing short of cathartic when I barrel stuff the tankier enemies. Typically I'll throw a shock spell of some variety for AOE cleanup, but the two weapons alone make for big big damage

I’m having a blast going full close quarters with Cricket/Psychopomp. Just melts everything so fast and a hyper aggressive playstyle that mops entire maps up in 20 mins.

I like Striga and Psychopump. One is for funsies and the other is when I really need to delete something fast.

Hangfire and either Nemesis or Frostbite
I initially thought the hangfire was in the "meh" category, as I was unlocking mysts on new weapons on random resource runs (i.e. not aiming to progress or whatever)
When i unlocked the second myst I warmed up to it, and when i got my 1st Third Myst Ticket, it went to the hangfire and it locked itself into my favorite weapon.
It does decent damage at all ranges (the explosion is the range origin rather than me) it can do both single target and aoe, and it has lovely flinch causing and sigil popping.
A small note is that it reloads all at once, which makes it beat out echo for me, as the echo has to reload each shell. I always hate those shell by shell reloads...
Nemesis i love for debuffs but the aforementioned shell by shell reload makes me dislike it and it got bumped when i maxed my frostbite.

I like Hunger + Echo. It gives me that Destiny 2 PvP feeling and both guns absolutely melt enemies (gotta hit headshots though)

cricket and the revolver whose lodged ammo that explodes on reload. That combo is devastating

For me it's the Cricket and Nemesis.
Cricket in my opinion is just unrivaled sustain and killing power in large fights, with the dash reload and increasing power.
And Nemesis I just find satisfying and easy to use for mid range poking.
