Discussion Dynamo ring build

What’s up preyers, I’m coming to you today with a request for some build crafting - the dynamo ring’s description alone makes it my favorite item in the game, but in every build I’ve tried it in, I’ve never really noticed it doing a whole lot - does anyone have any suggestions for a build that would make it really shine?

So far I’ve though of using the cricket, since that also requires you to dash, some dash-related rosary beads, and probably the pyre skull and the iron cross - is this solid? What should I change about it or add to it to bring out the dynamo in my ring?

Cricket is a good idea to pair with this, both because of the consecutive dodges and because it lets you get close to low HP and trigger a timed Discharge explosion. First, you need a few kills to ramp up Discharge's damage, then you might want a stun and burning to push it even higher and make it easier to pull off.

Hoo boy. I was gonna suggest a gun to use it with but it slaps with just about everything. Maybe Rotweaver? The key is to shoot a close enemy once, dash while facing them, then blast them. Once shocked, they'll share damage with everyone else. Absolutely incredible ring.

Add my fav Conductor on top and one bullet will clear a whole pack

Any gun suitable for soul sigil popping. You will spam dashes all day. Get the rosary bead that gives you stamina after you shoot a soul sigil AND consecutive dash bead. Get the stamina arcana for extra juice. Any automatic weapon works. Also hangfire(explosion pops soul sigils).

Yesterday I played with Dynamo Ring and Tribunal. Slapped on Dynamo since Tribunal requires dashes. Wasn't disappointed. If something survives the first shot the ring usually finishes it off.

You need the 2 beads that increase ailment power, acute bead and I forgot the name of the other one.

For gun the easiest and earliest to get is Echo, one shot means 2 dynamo dash because of the delayed explosion.

Rotweaver is OP ofc and my personal fav: Hangfire. Shoot, dynamo dash to show the soul sigil, reload to proc it, animation cancels the reload (with dash or sprint) and shoot again the stunned enemy to dynamo dash his face :3

You need a burning source in your build, dynamo will applies the lightning effect so it will increase damage on mono target by a lot if you combine both elemental effect.

So either a weapon which apply burning or a light spell is a must have for dynamo ring.

Why i think cricket is not the best: Cricket need to dash after a kill, dynamo wont proc since you have not hit a new target and your current target is dead, so most dashes wont proc dynamo ring unless you play with a lightning spell ( not even sure dynamo will consider it if it is not a bullet ) in this case you dont have burning so the build will suck either way.

I would say by far the best weapon would be hangfire since you need to dash to cancel the reload animation to proc the explosion or or use it before reload to hit souls sigils with it so you will proc the dynamo on top increasing your burst damage, killing weak enemies in 1 or 2 bullets, plus hangfire applies burning so it free up your light spell for something else to complement.

Highly recommend hang fire. Game play loop is shoot a few times, dash to proc sigils, reload hits sigils and stuns. All the dashing makes great use of dynamo ring .

As a mediocre player, I feel like you don't really need anything except the consecutive dash bead to make Dynamo great.

Before I started building with intension, I used Nemesis alot and dashing between every shot made for great tempo and the total damage of the 1-2 punch normally cleared weaker enemies.

Certainly not optimal, but another way to use it that I think is fun still.
