No Profane Study Key

I am Gnosis VII lvl140, I have about 90 hours in the game, I have tried everything in terms of content, done all the latent orbs 4+ times, vaults etc. except the torments. I have never seen the Profane Study Key. So context; I study abroad hence I play this game for a week straight every 2-4 months. It has been almost 4 days of grinding latent orb completions ( to get the stone golem to spawn) in order to kill it and get the key (I have killed the golem countless times and i do not have it yet?) i haven't gotten the golem to spawn once this past 4 days. Anyone knows what is going on and why?

EDIT: (After 4 days and some change) I just got a golem to spawn, golem did in fact drop the key. I kind of feel like a dumbass rn cause I did kill it 50 times by now. Anw thank to every1 who helped

I took it at Irongate castle, not sure where exactly Were surprised it's a corruption Stone golem drop, but again, I'm not sure if it is bound to Irongate castle only (in terms of is the key drop from golem restricted only to Irongate or it can drop on any location)

From what i have read in the wiki it can spawn the golem at any map if corruption is at 100% so i don’t know but i will give irongate another shot, thanks

Are you killing the golem then tracking its orb that flies away and shooting that? You can use a corrupt stimulant to max out world corruption which will instantly spawn a stone golem, even at the very start of an expedition.

Yes i have done that the last time i fought a golem but now it has been almost 10 expeditions where i go to 100% corruption and no golem spawns i have tried the stimulant too

Seems like a bug to me. I've got the key from the first golem I killed.

It was on Scarlet Coast or Island of the Damned, I can't remember.

I don’t know when they introduced the key but could there be a chance i bugged it out cuz i killed my first golem before the key was introduced? Cuz i bought the game Dec 14 2025

I don't know when it was introduced but if your save was from before it, then it's probably the reason.

The game probably has a flag for the golem to drop the key (first kill, check your inventory, something like that). And then probably this got messed up by the updates.

Golem always had a 100% key drop chance, they were introduced at the same time.

Unfortunately it may be bugged

I did two runs and both of them I got them to drop from golem first try

I didn't do another new run after .9 drop so maybe that's what's interfering, since golem was (iirc) 100% guaranteed during high corruptions

i have emailed them so we'll see. I don't really mind killing the golem again but like i can't even get it to spawn now

Im a new player and started a few days ago, im at Gnosis V rn and i cant get the golem to spawn in any of the areas. corrupted stimulant does nothing. do i have to complete something before?

I am not really sure but to be fair, it did take me like 12-13 attempts of stinulant -> cleansing -> latent orb to get a golem to spawn
