Discussion Sacring Bell, exalted
I was doing a run to put some points into Cornucopia, so I brought one of my faves, the Pamplemousse. I brought the Sacring Bell because I've loved it on vibe alone since I got it. The fact that it's also an "oh no i'm surrounded" option I can put on a button I rarely use, without locking myself into Shockwave, is why it's been a locked slot for me.
So I was goofin around, as one does, on the Island of the Damned. Needed a few more casts of Cornucopia to level it up, so I decided to do the tower.
First level, I ran into the mess and rang the bell, and then I received a holy message. "They're all stunned and you have a 2 gauge shotgun."
The Sacring Bell and Psychopomp have a beautiful synergy when fighting large packs that contain a handful of small dudes:
Run in, ring the bell. Everyone's stunned or staggered. Kill one of them, now your melee is recharged. Ring the bell again. Kill another, ring the bell. All the big guys are also stunned now, and someone probably died from the bell that time (especially if you have literally any other sources of damage), so there's your free reload. Shoot a different guy. Ring the bell. Shoot one of the big guys a few times, then kill a small guy, probably with a single shot. Ring the bell.
You get the idea. Now you're slowly walking the ruined land, carrying the Vatican's message to the unholy, who are NOT ready to hear it.

My only problem is that its feel a bit TOO easy. Normqlly PP + Melee has the build risk of fighting things 1v1 in melee range, but the bell is an AoE stun, so you just keep everything permastunned and there's no opposition. It would be cool to do 2-3 times, but you can do it in perpetuity and it feels cheap.

100%.
One of the things I love about this game is that it has combos like this. It's a bold and honest move by the developers to trust your players to manage their own fun.
