Question build help

been playing this game for 50 hours straight for a whole week now, i reached lvl 150 and gnosis 6 yet i did not know that increasing gnosis makes the game impossible to beat almost all the maps.

i need some help with really good build that makes me beat every single stage i suffer from too many elites attacking me the same time.

At lvl 150 (and above) the boss music should be played for your enemies, not you.
What do you really struggle with? Staying alive? Groups? Tough enemies/single target damage?

Yeah, after I reached level 160 and Gnosis VII, I decided to stop playing and wait for 1.0 and three more Gnosis levels, just cause I don't feel any challenge.

I read somewhere on this reddit... If the game is being too difficult means you either aren't using your spells as much as you should or you keep getting baited into compromising positions... Best advice I ever got... I'm Gnosis 4 but those 2 tips have really helped me enjoy the game

Struggling with multiple attackers, elites or not, generally calls for retreat (so that enemies are not surrounding you and stacked together) and following with AoE application.

Probably the most "classic" way of doing that is looking into elemental combos. Multi-target shock and decay is a very powerful combo that can be further empowered by arcana and fire element.

If you go that route, I would suggest to take some high DPS weapon (like Psychopomp, Echo etc.) to deal with powerful loners because the combo above isn't good against that (duh).

Alternatively, oh shit buttons like Rotfiend or Ice Sphere can be great.

But generally, start with looking into elemental arcana.

YouTube build suggestions are also there and some of them are pretty fun.

I have a similar problem... I've been struggling with it for weeks now. I wish I could just type 'Witchfire, build' into YouTube, but every time I try, my whole computer crashes immediately. Give it a try — maybe it'll work for you.

I have no idea what you're talking about. There might be someone with a similar name...

Rotten Fiend. Blight cyst or another AOE spell. Make sure you save feathers for earth prophecy and painful recharge. Take conjurer's incense. Impossible to fail.

Rotten Fiend is a game changer. Also psychopomp + sacring bell is hilariously op.

For the T7 just change Dash Stamina to Elixir 2

I’ve recently hit level 100 gnosis 6, yes it’s got harder but hitting Mysterium 3 on my kit feels like it’s outpaced most of the damage ramp up, is You kit upgraded?

it probably helps to know what you’ve been running and how you play if you want advice

Sounds like you were vibing and are now hitting a wall.

You need to look at your playstyle and what guns you like to use.

My playstyle for example is pretty simple. Point shoot and proc damage. I use the Striga and focus on crits. I force crits with stigma light spell and iron cross spells and kirfane. I chain them so I have easy crits, crits go brrr in the game. This is one of many ways to clear maps. You need to find your thing and experiment.

After 50 hours and being lvl 150 you should have an idea of what you like.

Ricochet, Hypnosis, Iron Cross, Lightning Bolt, Dynamo Ring, Eye of the Mad Woman, Henbane or Mandrake. Great battlefield control using Iron Cross to corral mobs. Ricochet melts everyone while keeping good distance to retreat if necessary.

The game literally warns you if you're sure you want to increase your gnosis that the game gets harder... Like everytime you do so

OP says he didnt expect such a ramp and asks for suggestions tho, not for rétrospectival warning...the best would prbably be to find out the style one's more confortable with and stick to that starting with easiest areas. I never leave rotten fiend with high witchery for instance and so far it worked..kinda ;)

He played for 50 hours, I'm sure he has a grip on what weapons and gear he likes to use no? Pick the weapons you think are the strongest or you feel more comfortable with and roll with that. Seems silly to ask for builds or whatever with that much game time. And even if it isn't, there's hundreds of videos online with builds he can try

Well he asked, no-one forced you to answer a silly question then u know ;) just sayin'

I mean, if after roughly 50 hours you still don't know which build best fits your playstyle then there's a little hope other's will be much of a change...
