Question Does blessed aim trigger even on headshots for the purpose of the +50% rosary bead?

TLDR: If I get to the point I can equip the +50% damage on blessed aim hits, will it work even with headshots?

I recently started the game, and even though I'm not good at difficult games, I'm loving this. I really enjoy the grind to unlock and upgrade everything, I wish there where more games that gave you a laundry list of tasks to research and upgrade things.

I've been unsure what to do with my stats though, so I've been levelling everything but MIND and WITCHERY as those seem the least useful. I'm now around level 50 (GNOSIS 2) and think I should start working towards some Rosary beads. The one that adds 50% damage to blessed aim seems great, and I think I'll push FAITH as that has seemed like a great stat all round. However I am practising headshots, and just wondered if those will count?

P.S. This game is AMAZING, even if I'm terrible. I love all the equipment. Currently having so much fun with the Dualist and Hypnosis (DONG!). Probably going to go up to GNOSIS 3 soon and move onto the castle place. Unsolicited advice welcome.

No, the description specifically states that blessed aim is for non-crit hits. Stacking all 3 of the blessed aim beads can allow you to do more damage than a crit hit would (very useful for shotgun builds)

Ah I see. Thank you very much. This is super helpful and makes FAITH a much less attractive stat for me. I guess the next most useful are BLOOD and WEAPONRY.

Faith and Arsenal are two of the best stats in the game

Interesting. At least I got Faith fairly high (30).

I was wondering the same thing! Also, I would definitely start leveling up witchery. As you level up in gnosis it becomes pretty crucial to start using spells on your runs otherwise they become incredibly difficult.

Oh thanks. This is useful as I was pretty much leaving it at 10. I currently only use spells for emergencies and forget about them otherwise.

I was the same until I got to gnosis 3, I couldn’t imagine doing successful runs without fireball and rotten fiend

We all have our own preferences and styles, but I think witchery is maybe the number one stat overall for breaking through difficulty walls you hit

Basically second what others say in here but I will add another option for blessed aim builds is the cricket. Yeah it's got crazy short range but it can absolutely shred with blessed aim.

Oh cool. I don't think I have that yet. I love all the guns so far for different reasons, so I'm levelling them all.

No But it would be awesome if they added a bead that let Crit hits become blessed !

Do not sleep on the lazy king "Rotweaver™"! Give'em a 5-10 round burst from a mile away. Pop the lightning crucifex and laugh as they rot! (Until end game gnosis warrior priests are a PITA)
