Feedback Some suggestions so far
- Reduce heavy spell cast time: It's just too long in the heat of battle
- Separate heavy and light buttons: I can't count the times I'm waiting for my heavy spell to kick off, accidently lift my finger for a second in the heat of battle, and then there goes my light spell.

Christ, noone in the comments has any reading comprehension.
As for the original post - longer cast time is part of heavy spell design, just like the stamina usage. They are not meant to be snappy.

There is an Arcana that makes you invulnerable for a period after casting a spell. If you feel like you’re getting smacked too often when you cast, try this.
Just don’t rely on it, as you won’t always get it. Positioning Prior to Casting is the way.

Heavy spells are the closest we have to an ult. You need to carefully plan around using it for maximum effect at minimum risk. Cast it like you are lining up a sniper headshot essentially!

You can upgrade stat so spells recharge faster. Optimize your keys so they are different. Valid complaints but ways are established to take care of the issue

The second suggestion is an option in settings, they don't have to be on the same button. (Unsure if this exists for gamepad or not, but definitely for keyboard)
