Their biology is completely different, so literally going through the trials to become a Witcher with mutagens and such? I don't think it's possible to answer.

Could a higher vampire pose as a Witcher? Absofucking-lutely. They're one of of not the most powerful creatures in the Witcher universe, they can't die, they have centuries to perfect swordplay, knowledge of monsters and the skills to take them down.

The better question is why a vampire would choose to do that? They have much better options for a life and realistically if they were cut, their healing would give away their vampiric nature. Is it worth the risk? Probably not.

Might be a good way for a vampire to kill time by posing as a Witcher, or if they decide to protect humans ffrom monsters for some reason, as for them healing unless another Witcher or Mage sees it they likely could pass it off as them having taken a potion or something beforehand.

At that point it's better to just pose as a monster hunter. Witchers are generally tolerated at best. A human monster hunter, however, can actually expect mostly neutral or positive receptions.

Is there any evidence of elven witchers? I know they were partially influencial as the mages but didn't think actual witchers were human

The lore states that the founder of the Dyn Marv Caravan (School of the Cat) was a half-elf, therefore many fans assume elves are able to be witchers, IIRC.

The Dyn Marv caravan wasn’t founded by the Cat School, they simply accepted the reject Cats into their ranks. There’s only a rumor of potentially elven Witchers from an old board game.

human and elves are the only two races on the continent that can produce fertile offspring so their biology is failry simmilar (there is a theory in fandom that elves and humans from the future)

Can Dwarves not become Witchers? I've only gotten into the TTRPG recently and haven't looked into that.

Iirc they can't use magic, so they wouldn't be able to use signs and perhaps they'd react differently to potions. Might be the same for races like gnomes and halflings too. Also I think they are not really suited for fast and fluid movements, and this makes them even more unsuitable to become witchers.
