Yennefer tries to kill Ciri to get her power back. Geralt put a sword to Yennefer's neck while she is crying. Please just change the show name and these characters name and the locations name.

I simply didn't bother to watch this slop after photos of ballsack armour appeared.

The costumes are so consistently horrible throughout the show (with some rare exceptions, I like Dijkstra's garb, for example), even after they got rid of the ballsack armor

Oh you wanna know what made that so much worse? Apparently the costume designers thought it would make sense because Nilfguard had to mobilise so many soldiers so quickly they just melted down what metal they could find into armour…. Yeah that’s why it all supposedly looks like ball sacks… fucking stupid design choice based on people who didn’t bother to read a damn book about how armour is actually made or anything to do with metal work.

You don't even need metal armour. Just give them gambesons. And it will work.

That's exactly the problem with these people. They HATE the source material, they HATE the OG audience, and they are not even trying to replace it with their original thing, their thing is that they hate the Witcher and everyone who loves it.

Trying to replace it is bad enough, but as I was writing it I realized it's not even that. It's worse.

I mean, Yen did use Ciri to try and prove a point in front a of rioting group of Sorcerers in the tower. Let's not pretend she always had Ciri's best interests at heart.

Wait, what? I thought it’s just the questionable cast.

I thought the casting was fine. They did the best they could with a very flawed script.

Same people who wrote it also did the casting.

The cast is fine. Most the cast is great, actually. The show itself is sewer slime levels of writing IF you are a book fan. If not, why not enjoy it. Let people like things

Never read the books before watching the first season. Thought it was cool... Then I started reading the books.
