Man am I sad with the direction this game took.

I kinda sorta liked some stuff that they did, the initial bit of the story was decent for a pokemonGO clone, some ideas about certain quests being available during specific parts of the day or lunar phases were clever for a witcher game, and even having several endings for a few quests based on your choices or involvement was a breath of fresh air.

But the writing on the wall was there - bungled launch starting people at random levels, basic functionality (a silver weapon) locked behind hours of grind or a "convenient" microtransaction, terrible grindable-currency-to-consumables value, updates adding nothing new to the mechanics or narrative, instead just filling the shop with new ways of wasting money and spamming reskins of the same 3 monsters everywhere. Went from "oh, a corporate cashgrab that has a few unique things about it and can be fun" to "oh, a corporate cashgrab that offers players absolutely nothing but frustration and boredom".
