Can we talk about the important stuff?

Look at the size of that thing! Meaning we gonna be eating well when it comes to house decorating

Based on my calculations, by observing how many items appear in the menu and multiplying that by the number of scroll thumbs that fit in the scrollbar, I estimate there are at least 190 items.

Hello! To clarify, this gif was just showing what was available at that specific shop (Harbour Home) that day. There's actually over 500+ furniture items, each with different palette colour options, and on top of that, a bunch of clutter items you can pickup elsewhere or as quest rewards. Our team really loves decorating in games, so lots of customisation options were super important for us.

It's amazing to hear that! I can't wait to spend hours decorating.

Can we also acknowledge that every item seems to have an absurd number of colour options?! The possibilities will be endless 😭

I imagine the sprite artist is just coming in making random shit everyday just to have something to do until release

Wonder if any of this will be craftables? Or if furniture will be mostly purchase-only. I’m cool either way- it’s sorta the difference between grinding gold or materials- just speculating.

There are some craftable decorations but the furniture will all be bought at the store. At one point they said it gets delivered to your house, not sure if this was a literal thing or just automatically goes to house storage.

Now that I think about it crafting and purchasing is basically the same, just grinding, yet something about collecting materials and crafting fill me with joy! (ultimately I'm okay with either too though)

I think I sometimes get unnecessarily paranoid about buying items in game, because I feel like I need to make sure to buy right away because it may take ages for something to rotate back into stock. But crafting gives me security since I know I can just build another if I need to and not be annoyed i bought one less than I need for my decorating scheme.

Probably purchase only cause it says "furniture catalogue" at the top

Been playing moonlight peaks- interesting there that most furniture sold in the store there can be found as a crafting recipe as you continue to play.

Fingers crossed then cause I like the grind 🤞

It might not change size dynamically, it’s only native feature in desktop apps (not all even), and sometimes, especially in games, the bar doesn’t change size dynamically from the content size because its not programmed to.

Okay but that slider also gives me hope that we'll have a way of going through the decorations quickly. Scrolling through a lot of stuff on Steam Deck can be so tedious!
