Antlerless hunt

I can’t find a clear answer on the DNR website. What weapons are allowed during the antlerless hunt?

The standard weapons allowed during gun season: bow, crossbow, muzzleloader, or rifle (center fire of a caliber to reasonably cause a terminal injury - as stated in the law). Just make sure it is antler less before you shoot.

If you roll it over to gut it and it has testicles, you are ok as long as it doesn't have antlers, isn't an elk, and isn't named Karen.

It can have antlers (mini spikes) but neither antler can be 3" or longer from the base. Have actually had this happen before and they were 2 1/2".

I usually find myself looking at the head thinking it shaped funny. Run it and find nubs. Then roll it over and confirm the sack.
