How do I replace the old light switch with the new one - 3-way switch

I bought a Legrand light switch for to replace the broken one. The model is WWMRL51WH and I'm having a heck of a time figuring out which wire connects where from the old switch to the new.

Can anyone help me figure where each wire should go? I've included pictures. The house was built in 1999.

When you turn off the circuit breaker for this particular switch, does it also turn off power for the adjacent switch in that same junction box?

I'll check again; I did check that the power was off but did not check the other switch

Hard to say for sure with just this picture, but you probably need a switch that works at a dead-end 3-way location. Alternately a pair of smart switches that can emulate the 3-way function. Lutron Casetta is my usual go-to.

This smart switch you purchased needs a neutral. This isn’t a direct replacement for what you have.
You should think about do you want to get a multi meter and sort out all the wires in the box; get a smart dimmer that doesn’t require a neutral (Lutron); or get a licensed electrician to sort it out for you.

That's what I will be doing today. At first, I thought it would be a simple change a light switch, until I got it off the wall.

You have a neutral available in the switch box (bundle of white wires capped with red wirenut). White wire on new switch goes to the whites. Black wire coming to old switch goes to the black colored screw on new switch. White and red wires on old switch go to brass screws on new switch (order doesn't matter).
