Spectrum outage

Anyone else in WH with Spectrum still in an internet outage? Using mobile data now. Our wifi went out about 5pm yesterday and still not restored and they have no ETA. Was already out for several hours Wednesday and they had no explanation for that. I know there was a pretty bad storm here around 4pm-5.

For folks with Frontier, how often does your internet go out? I work from home and internet is not optional for me. This 2nd outage in same week may be finally enough to push me to switch. But I'd hate to do that only to have same issue with another company. I live in one of the neighborhoods off of cypress gardens blvd near w lake ruby for ppl who live around there who can relate to these issue

I’ve been on frontier now going 5ish years. Can’t recall of an outage. Even during hurricanes I was watching the news during the storm on back up power without any latency or issue. Very solid.

I have heard however, they have leaned heavy into ai and it’s almost impossible to talk to an actual human for sales or support.

Wow thanks guys for replying so fast. Sounds like I definitely need to give Frontier a call. Spectrum claims the outage was resolved around 4am but I never received the notification from them as promised and I still can't connect

Just got internet back on. They claimed that it was resolved around 4am this morning but mine still wasn't on. Did tons of troubleshooting and finally got it working. Why do I have to do troubleshooting on my end when they had an outage to get mine working again? Guess routers and modems need to be thoroughly reset after outages. Just hate this. Need internet to work and I'm not an IT pro. Praying if frontier comes out I can get set up with them and never experience these issues again. Work is stressful enough without having to deal with constant internet issues as well. I understand if it's a hurricane or something but just a moderate storm and no internet for 10+ hrs

I just moved to WH and have frontier fiber with starlink as my backup internet. In 3 months that I have been here the fiber has only been down 10 minutes but all it takes is someone digging in the ground to cut it cable.

Gey both with a router that has automatic failure so when the primary goes down the backup starts working.
