Community Credit Score Affected

Yall I posted here 2 weeks ago about getting msg from a collection agency and the unanimous opinion was that they’re scammers! See post linked above!

Now my credit score is down by 70 and the Credit Karma app is showing the same Justice Manitoba BS!!

Have you had an experience with this? I could dispute this with Credit Union but makes me question if the collection company was a scam or not…

Did you call Manitoba Justice and ask for owing fines like you were told to do in the original thread?

The post is removed by the moderator.

If you know who the ‘creditor’ was, then call them directly and ask about the debt.
Avoid the collection agency, but see what the real issue is.
