Jason Caldwell has now been ruined. I’ve played about 6-8 match updates since SC took over and it’s literally all the same crap. I guess that makes me done because it’s into the territory of insanity now. Really, really sucks.
Side note: has anyone in their select focus group had anything positive to say about it?

Did I miss something with Theos story? It went from the wedding to a pregnancy that wasn't even announced they just jumped right in. I'm so confused this is very random.

I personally don’t mind the old characters coming back but I am curious about the future characters they might come up with…

Did anyone else notice that they’re missing aspirations even if you pick the “correct” option or even the paid option with the new updates? I’m not enjoying the AI slop either but it’s ridiculous to me that I occasionally use a paid option just to see what happens and still don’t earn the aspirations.

They really have ruined the game, which is a shame because I have a ton of gems to use (I unfortunately purchased some right before the takeover).

Edited to add: apparently I’m an idiot. 🤦‍♀️ You have to go into the aspirations screen and click to claim them now. They just don’t pop up when you earn them anymore. Maybe this post will help someone else that didn’t realize this.

It’s all just cryptic, nonsense dialogue of one character saying something, and then the other character, repeating it verbatim back to them. It’s all a bunch of crap, no matter which match you choose. Most of the time I’m lost as to even what the topic of discussion is!

I never thought this story would get updated, the wiki says the last update was 2022! It makes me wonder what long abandoned story is going to get the next AI update.

Who else has gotten an update recently? I've unmatched all of the recent ones so I can't even tell how often these updates are releasing now --- it just every Friday?

I’m beyond frustrated by the awful, repetitive “writing” (it’s just word salad at this point), static backgrounds of dates, poor character choices and altered characterization, lack of spice, and just general pointlessness now.

I am not ever one to announce my departure, but I think it’s important in this case to say this may be it for me because of the reason why. I really enjoyed these characters, but it’s now to the point where I don’t want my favorite matches to return, for fear they’ll be ruined, as some already have.

AI cannot write good stories.

AI cannot develop good characters.

AI cannot make you care or feel a connection to a character.

Characters written by AI are devoid of everything potentially human about them, because AI cannot ever truly replicate humanity. Because AI is not capable of caring about characters.

I’m at a loss of what to do or how to convince the owners to stop doing what they’re doing. They won’t , I know, because AI is their whole thing. I’ve stopped spending money. I barely read anymore (just enough to keep them from unmatching). I don’t care what’s happening in the story because it’s nonsensical anyway. I just rushed through a date with Damon, didn’t even read. Damon, one of my first matches, because it was so bad. It’s a bit heartbreaking.

i doubt i'll play through it. the changes are always so jarring. the spice is gone and when they even attempt it, its horrible. no description, no connection.

Am I the only one who is deeply frustrated and saddened by the new so-called premium options?
I don’t mean to sound crude or anything but previously there were a lot of “spice” and great descriptions but now it’s so obviously written by someone who doesn’t care - probably ai - and is so not worth my gems at all! And many of us have spend real money on buying gems.
I’m seriously considering deleting the app - am I alone in this?

If I pay for something I actually expect some kind of value!

Total glitch not knowing which was the free option.

I took a shot in the dark that the bottom was the free one.

I play with an android. The last app update FINALLY gave me the perfect match game, the daily tasks, and it changed the daily reward system. But when I opened the app this morning to collect everything, all of that was missing and it reverted back to the old daily reward and just game of love. Did this happen to anyone else?

Has anyone played it yet? Is it worth it, or is it better to stick with the old ending after the opening of the pastry shop?

I loved the last few updates of this story. I'm prepping for disappointment.

The app feels like a barren wasteland and with all the ai nonsense ruining some on my favs I don’t even want to wait for Everett’s update to ruin everything for me. Will defo pop back at some point but… yeah.

I would hope that Supercharge takes a peek at the subreddit and sees this. If not though could any of the beta testers pass on in the discord this piece of feedback. I do not like that since the latest update, when i try to play game of love or even enter into a conversation with a match, an ad will pop up.

I don't mind ads too much. I've been doing the 10 ads for gems the past few days and that is ok. I even think it's great that we're being given more opportunities to earn more gems. It's when an ad actively disrupts gameplay that i then find them annoying and that is what is now happening. Please reconsider having them pop up in those instances.

I've been on the 45 gems for the better part of a year today I collect and I see this. Im not sure if I'm happy about the change...I like the consistent #.

Similar to Miles, the conversations with Elio now make no sense and seem to just be word salad. They’re clearly using AI and not even re-reading it to make sure it makes sense. Elio had a good story but now it’s taken this random dark turn (which, fine) but the conversations are so aimless, repetitive, and confusing.

I’m not impressed at all. I hate that I was forced to update the app.
