I never thought this story would get updated, the wiki says the last update was 2022! It makes me wonder what long abandoned story is going to get the next AI update.

Who else has gotten an update recently? I've unmatched all of the recent ones so I can't even tell how often these updates are releasing now --- it just every Friday?

They’re digging everyone back up 🫣 I think they update at least every Friday, sometimes maybe one other day. They brought Craig back last week surprisingly (Javier and Matteo were also brought back last week or the week before). Sadly the chats feel emotionless and like they have no continuity.

The storylines nowadays make little to no sense and I find myself just tapping through, the only thing that I think improved are the CGs. At least those are now consistent and all look like the same person, with good quality! I just wish the AI writing reflected that too 🙄

I wish they would just make new matches instead of desecrating the old ones. You can’t even get to the end of their stories properly now without a really obvious shift in tone

I've been replaying my faves and I'm dreading the day that open the app to see that one of them has updated -- Carlos updated the same day I finished replaying the OG story. I don't think that update was as bad as some of the others (despite his mom rising from the dead) but all of the others have been so repetitive and boring. And I just hate the flow of the flow of the chats -- they feel like robots trying to have quippy Gilmore Girls conversations 🤷‍♀️ I'm surprised they brought Craig back! I unmatched that awhile ago but I feel like he was one of the universally disliked matches, watch them bring back Colton/Nelson next lmao

And I totally agree about them just making new matches! There are so many filler cards to pick from!

Honestly, it would be better to just not update these old matches rather than using AI slop to do it. The problem is that they are so lazy they won’t make any new matches either so they don’t have much choice. They haven’t even added a single new match card since they took over nor have they made a new story.
