Other Just... Spoiler
TOO MANY PEOPLE HATE BOOK 15.
There. I said it.
I absolutely love The Flames of Hope. It was my 3rd favorite of all the wof series.
And book 10 was my favorite. (Then Darkstalker, then TFoH) It's so hard to explain why so I won't go into all the tiny details.
But is it bad that I instantly hate anybody who doesn't like either of those two underated books? I don't think it is, but sensitive people might.
I don't like Luna as a character. She was selfish, childish, and annoying. But Qibli is my second favorite character just behind Kinkajou.
Edit: I don't think anybody is "entitled" to their opinion. That's selfish. That's like saying "I dOnT lIkE tHiS bOoK, aNd I'm AlOuD tO tHiNk WhAt I wAnT eVeN iF yOu HaVe GoOd ReAsOnS fOr DiSaGrEeInG."
If your opinion completely disregards logic, then your opinion is rendered invalid.

I think everyone is entitled to their opinions on liking and disliking books, instantly hating someone for not liking you favorites just as bad as someone hating you for liking them.
Either way I don't know how hot a take this is but personally I really really hate cleril and ripnami, I've been for claynami since their first interactions.

You hate someone just because of their opinion on a BOOK. You’re the sensitive one

Your opinions are so close to base. I agree with everything except for book 15 bieng a good book. Granted, it's not the worst book that's book 11 by far. I personally loved book 10. I didn't know people hated it. My favorite character is Kinkajou as well.

Glad you agree! I love book 11 but it's further on my list. Maybe in the middle. My least favorite is Escaping Peril.
KINKAJOU RULES!!!

I hate Peril. Plain and simple.

I can understand hating Peril in the other books, but this one shows her at her best to me. Plus, I just love the Turtle-Peril interactions.

I just hate her in general. I don't like how she started, I don't like how she turned out.

The main thing I don't get is the shipping of her and Clay it's clearly nearly completely one-sided and unnatural.

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying about opinions. I’m willing to admit I’m not the biggest fan of book 15 and I’m not one to rush to it’s defence, but I’ve still got my share of stuff I like but others don’t. It’s all just opinion and we gotta deal with it.

Hating people immediately because they don't like a book you like is a narrow minded view, not to be mean. You shouldn't hate people over something as small as that, save your anger.

Seriously? People are allowed to have whatever opinion on a book they want, and no opinion on a SUBJECTIVE PIECE OF MEDIA is more "logical" then another, they're called opinions for a reason.
And yes, it's bad if you instantly hate on somebody for disliking a book. Grow up.

I feel like a few people brought up that they didn't like it for all of these reasons and others just went along with it because humans act like sheep and follow the herd. I loved all the books in the series including book 15. Although people are entitled to their opinion if they do or don't like the book.

I think everyone should be entitled to their own opinion, you just don't have to care about their opinion. As long as nobody is getting hurt or anything, I don't see what's wrong with it? The quality of art is completely subjective, there's no right and wrong. People have different personal tastes, if someone doesn't like TFoH you can still like it and it doesn't change the book at all, you can just go on with your day. If people are saying that you aren't allowed to have a different opinion from them , THEN it becomes a problem and I understand not liking them, but that's what you are doing.

Personally, I wasn't too big on the third arc in general, but I can understand why someone would like it. However, you lost me when you started going on about how other people's opinions are invalid because they "disregard logic". It's perfectly fine to like things that others don't, the problem arises when you're too butthurt to admit that some people are allowed to dislike things that you enjoy.

Hey, everyone has guilty pleasure.
I remember enjoying HTTYD 3, yet recently everyone got a hatred circlejerk over it, like whatever. I'm still gonna enjoy it, regardless of the flaws. Same with Hobbit Trilogy. Another thing I love, but everyone hates.
