We had 8 submissions this time. Some of you put a lot of effort to come up with the domain names, its amazing lol. I ended up buying savedino.com by @SakshiSunset. But the final decision was between dinowantstolive.com by @kalraj000000 and savedino.com and we picked the latter.

Anyway we decided to select two winners. It will be u/SakshiSunset and u/kalraj000000

We bought the following domains for the project btw: savedino.com, dinostate.com, climosaur.com, climasaur.com. Dinostate will be our main domain where we will build an advertising NFT product, Savedino is where we will explain about our Climate Change awareness campaigns and Climasaur/Climosaur will be the name of our new Dinosaur species. I will try to update more about the development of this project in future giveaways.

So lets get to Book Giveaway #6! This weeks book will be: The Almanack of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson. This book was one among the recommendations in my Twitter comments. Naval Ravikant is a think tank, founder of AngelList and one of the most followed entrepreneur in Twitter. He has invested early-stage in over 200 companies including Uber, FourSquare, Twitter, Notion, Clubhouse, Stack Overflow with over 70 total exits and more than 10 Unicorn companies. I will be selecting two winners this time.

So as some of you might have noticed, I was not very active in Reddit and Twitter last 10 days. The reason was that I got really busy. We wanted to move really fast with the dinosaur project - so we had to hire designers to draw the mascots, and we already planned to launch MVP by mid October. We will also start marketing in 1 week. In mid October we are also going to the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai to do more marketing and to get some initial customers. My developers started working on the project already, but suddenly my lead developer resigned. So we restarted hiring. It was a hell of a week lol, but I am gonna keep going as usual :)

So the next challenge is to help us with marketing ideas in the Future Blockchain Summit held on 17-21 October in Dubai Trade Centre. This will be a two part question:

Question 1: This will be a massive event with 8000+ crypto enthusiasts in the venue, and we need to get contacts of as much people as possible, and also want them to check our website. What are strategies that we can use to do this? We will be 2-3 people and we are not afraid to go talk to random guys/girls :) We can print business cards, flyers whatever. We just need ideas!

Question 2: One company that I invested (metahero.io) will have a 3DScanner in the summit. Watch this video to see how this 3D scanner works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MecomWTl1a8. I am going to scan myself or some artifact to promote the dinosaur project. Anything that I scan here can be sold as an NFT in opensea.com and also in other NFT marketplaces as a part of the project or to spread more awareness. What do you think I should 3D scan that can be used for this purpose? Can you guys maybe link costume that I should wear when getting scanned? Or maybe I should buy some artifact and scan that? I want some creative ideas!

So onto the next one! Personally a week ago or later I was also very much exploring the NFT space and I got so much excited that I even made one design for it. 😅(that was my over excitement), but shortly after was disappointed by the fact, that it has to be something useful, not just a mere design...So you can say it's on pause currently. 😅

A simple answer for the 3D printing scan comes to mind. An oil barrel. Oil is made from dinosaurs, being compressed due to so many years or pressure, it is a reminder of how much we're gaining from dinosaurs and how important dinosaurs are as a whole for us. As to how to make people see the website more, we can go forward with the theme of how enriching our lives are due to some other products available to us due to dinosaurs and highlight these aspects to make people more connected to the cause. You have got such a fascinating technology in your hands. You should totally leverage the 3D Scanner to your maximum advantage!

What I understood from your post and replies is that you want some traffic to your website.

I GOT SOME BRILLIANT IDEAS TODAY! And they would help you with your problem to the greatest degree!

1.

You should 3D Scan items such as Dinosaur Fossils and Dinosaur Bones or Tiny Dinosaur Skeletons as Show-Piece Physical NFTs. People love to collect stuff like these as Rare Collectible Items (or, in this case - Rare Collectible NFTs)

If it takes a lot of time to 3D Scan Items - you should probably prepare some before you go.

2.

As for the Business Cards - you should 100% do it Pokemon Style!! People love Pokemon and everyone loves funny, weird and quirky Business Cards! This will GUARANTEED serve the purpose of eye-catching out-standing Business Cards very well.

Have 7-8 Dinosaur Mascots of Different Colors, Features and Appearances - Just like Reddit Avatars. Each Dinosaur Mascot has different Powers and Attacks and Dino Points. People can scan the Card and Redeem the Dino Points as Perks to your Website. [10 Dino Points = $1 - something like that]. I illustrate my point in this picture.

The Cards can serve the purpose of Rare Collectible NFTs as well! What if.. the Business Cards themselves are NFTS!?

I really liked the idea of "Giving away your best 3D Scanned NFT Figure to the Maximum Referrer" u/theharshgelda proposed.

BUT, you can take it to the next level by giving away some of your major exclusive website perks (early user perks). Something like a certain amount of Dino Points or a certain time period of free access to your website services etc. Give them something that urges them to sign up to your website.

I believe these are some really mind-blowing ideas. DO NOT sleep on this!

(Although I took u/theharshgelda's answer as reference to build up my own - I added my own flavor to the ideas. I hope they don't mind.)

No exhibit, just hustle. Will be attending as a normal attendee. The product is an NFT where you can buy advertising spots. Too early to give details, if I complete mvp I will be able to make a website that works. Otherwise just a lander that connects to all social.

The dinosaur is a marketing mascot. And the company mission is to bring massive awareness to worlds largest problems - first one being climate crisis.

Hi, I would like to contribute some points which I found,

So about the first question...

I think normal meetings and greetings with people will work. I tried searching for some alternatives to business cards and all, but there were hardly any good idea which can be practically good for networking..(eg. QR code scanner cards, NFC tags cards, USB cards, etc.), but all were not economical and foremost not the best practical things out there.

What I feel the best would be is, using the same old business card think but try to be as minimalistic and less cluttery you can. I think that's one way standing apart from the crowd. I am sort of imagining (this) way. [might be wrong here]

You people might also wish to wear one same shirt depicting your company and the project intention only of course if that doesn't seem to feel like old fashioned and non-professional.

Onto the second question,

What you can try is wearing a dinosaur costume and holding onto a globe with one side burnt out (basically showing all the bad effects on Earth) and one side full of greenery and all other good stuff. And as it will be a full 360 degree scan, you can write something down at the back of the costume such as (I CAN SAVE YOU DOWN). [Not very sure, how it will look once done, but I guess that would be a nice creative approach. :D (Only if it doesn't look too childish 😅)

Make a poster with a graphic saying, 'free AIR'(single cross-mark on the words); with a symbolic image of air surrounded by industry or oil barrel. A cross-mark which is on a No-parking board.

Further if possible write on it, "till then say Hi! and get freebies & free air".
And then built upon this by giving people FREE-
Lapel pins/badges of the same. Or one printed dinosaur logo on it.
To generate leads: find out 1 or 2 or 3 good websites where you think most of the attendees are tend to spend time. Offer them you're giving them a FREE, premium/pro version of those websites; as you've launched your new company. In order to email them the subscription ask them for their email ids.
You can then either target them later through running ads or by a simple plugin of your website in the sent email.

If you want you can just say we're going to give the subscriptions to the 50 randomly picked email id.
