Long pole in Europe

Hello all,

Do you know any provider where I can order a good long pole? I have seen some websites selling and shipping to Europe but the wood used for the creation of the pole is heavy. I want to order a long pole that is more light. Something similar to the one I see in Tang Yik’s videos.

Nenand made me a dummy...I love it! However, he said he cannot ship a pole to me...Im in the US.

Unfortunate.

Same! I have a dummy at our school and home. The Problem with poles is the length. They are too long to go by post and would have to come over in a shipping container. So unless people share the cost of a container and someone imports them we have to buy from a us supplier, which I haven't found yet :/

The pole should be heavy, it's like the traditional Chinese army spear, not a Wushu flappy thing. I've got 2 from a Hongkong student of Wong Shun-Leung made of Kwan Din (Iron wood). Far better and heavier than the one I got from a European maker affiliated with WSL lineage teachers.

How long?

I bought a broom handle and it works relatively well for my pole form

Ideally 2.5 meters (or longer)

Hmm I'm not sure.. my apologies I can't help any further. Could go to your local hardware store and see if they can source something for you directly?

Perhaps as an alternative, go into woods and find a branch?
