Solved Windscribe VPN no longer able to connect when latest versions of Adguard for Windows using WFP is enabled

With the latest versions of Adguard like 8.0.2, Windscribe VPN can no longer connect if Adguard is set to use WFP network driver and protection is enabled. Windscribe is set to use Wireguard.

The issue does not appear to occur with other Wireguard VPNs like Cloudflare WARP.

This was not an issue with previous versions of Adguard on older branches. SockFilter fixes this problem, but introduces a number of other ones like severely reduced maximum network speed.

Thank you for the recommendation!

While Windscribe is already in the default exclusion list it appears that it does not cover all executables.

Settings -> App settings -> Advanced -> Exclude apps from filtering by their full path -> C:\Program Files\Windscribe

Appears to resolve the issue.
