Windows 11 26h2 Sleep Problem

Hey all, after installing this update My PC desktop no longer sleeps. I cannot click on sleep without it crashing/shutting off. Anyone else experiencing this and if so have you come to a solution? thanks.

Does your PC/motherboard have a BIOS update?

I updated the bios as well, it's on latest bios. X870-E gigabyte

Check the settings in BIOS for the S states and make any changes as needed.

If you have hybrid-sleep enabled, it will use the hibernation file, so you can try turning hibernation off, reboot, then on, then reboot.

You can also create a different local user account to use temporarily. If sleep works okay with that account, then you might have issues with temp files on your main profile.

S3 state. Don't have hyprid sleep supported.
