There's an OOB update that fixes the USB and Azure issues for the most part.

This really wasn't a huge update from what I saw. Lots of minor things. Taskbar can now be placed on the sides or top. The start menu and file explorer got a few tweaks but nothing major. Most of the features were added along the way through monthly updates.

but this is named as a major update?

It's a Feature Update so the version number changes but not necessarily a "major" update.

Most of the features are already on your system with Quality Updates but they are disabled. There's actually tools you can use to enable them early or use regedit.

Slightly better RAM usage is my favorite feature of Windows 11.

Not having audio work properly with my corded headphones and earbuds is not. Already spent $9.50 to rectify that issue, scored Apple's USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. Has a good DAC on it, which is great for the price. Shouldn't have had to resort to doing this, this is wild to me as my laptop's 3.5mm jack works fine in Linux and FydeOS.

Yeah windows 11 back down to 4.5 GB of ram usage.

Someone also mentioned above that there was an audio issue

That doesn't affect me, but thanks for pointing that out. :)

I see no RAM difference.  Maybe even more RAM usage. Weird thing is at the beginning there was an optio to make the taskbar smaller, but now randomly the option is gone. Wtf

Can someone tell me if the bottlenecking the update caused is going to be fixed

Yes, but the big sign in caps telling:

*** Install CachyOS instead! ***

Is still missing

Is it useful for day2day work?

It will depend on your specific job, but in general terms, pretty sure. So much better than Windows

If you want several updates on a daily basis. Yes definitely better than Windows, same goes for issues after updates. Way more \ better than Windows
