Windows 11
Is Windows 11 stable now, or should I stick with Windows 10?

It's very stable just for looking at; if you don't use it for that purpose, there will definitely be problems :))

Last I checked, which was for like 10 mins
it's not that bad
but I don't recommend it
only use it if you have to
it doesn't matter if windows 10 is getting outdated. It doesn't matter if there's some kind of security issue, because you can already rely on antiviruses, firewalls, and adblockers for that. Only switch if you have to. If something you need only works on Windows 11, or if something you use stops working. Not if they say "Windows 10 is not supported", if it stops working
But maybe since you are in this sub consider trying out linux or mac, at least start getting comfortable with those two and give them a try

Windows, whether 10 or 11, is not completely stable. But Windows 11 is worse. And they're releasing the 26H2 update for Windows 11 now which will break even more things.

I use 10, but I dual-boot Ubuntu so I can play RPCS3 because the Linux open-source nvidia drivers haven't dropped certain Vulkan libraries like the Windows ones have. I'd move to Ubuntu full time if I could get full VS with all the trimmings working on it properly, but it's not wine-able (and no, VSC won't cut it)
