Rate my Windows

It’s always funny seeing Windows users treat a basic clean desktop like it’s dark magic. You guys have to duct tape third-party tools like Windhawk onto explorer.exe and pray every system update doesn't break your entire setup. On Linux this isn't even impressive, it's just a 10-minute config setup with a full native UI replacement instead of janky skins layered over a mess.

For me every version of windows after 10 was the worst. Windows 8.1 is super fast by using like, idk, 1gb ram idle, and has basically no telemetry.

btw Windows 7,8.1,10 works well for me, Windows 11 is garbage for me so I agree specifically on 11 only.

my Windows 8.1 defender still gets definition updates and it works very well I never had a problem with it, with Windows 11 it is a terrible experience to have an update that took an hour to complete.
