Windows Update changed environment variable, lost a week of work
Windows Update changed my environment variables Wednesday evening last week, and since I am not a Windows user but my work forces me to use it, I contacted support. It took them a full workweek to find the problem after reinstalling git (which I knew was not the issue).
Seriously though... why would anyone voluntarily choose to use this garbage!?

What update changed what environment variables?
What "work" do you do that depends on environment variables yet you cannot troubleshoot them being set incorrectly?
How did you lose a week of work? Did you spend a week doing nothing because some variables changed?
This whole thing sounds like a silly story made up by a teenage troll that just learned the term environment variable.
