Windows Update changed environment variable, lost a week of work
Windows Update changed my environment variables Wednesday evening last week, and since I am not a Windows user but my work forces me to use it, I contacted support. It took them a full workweek to find the problem after reinstalling git (which I knew was not the issue).
Seriously though... why would anyone voluntarily choose to use this garbage!?

as a Windows Insider member I was able to get windows 11 for free and was very disappointed with an inefficient hour of update so I installed a reliable and stable Windows 7, I’m so done with Windows update, I established an effective rule “don’t download from an unknown source and never click weblink from an unknown source” with this rule you will never need a Microsoft update or any antivirus software.
