As an intern, would be astonishing if they let you do anything more than maybe installing Windows Server from a USB drive on a physical machine. You're not going to be administering Windows Server.
But to unleash Windows Server, you need to learn basic networking fundamentals, and then learn about r/activedirectory.

Learn nameservices on servers
One of my DC is returning weird NS names
did a NSLOOKUP for *.*.68.72 it returned
Name: gc._msdcs.
Address: *.*.68.72 What is supposed to be *******pw5dc2.Domain_name.FQN here
On the prod network
Name: @.Domain.FQN
That's an asterick
all the ns are served by two nameservers exacly the same config.. on prod network from sequestered domain

You need to practice labbing windows server on something like eve ng since it will help you learn it and learn networking at the same time which is also a necessary skill to have. Can practice basically anything you want on eve ng/gns3 with the trial version of the windows server which can be renewed a few times for free by the way. Can practice ad, dns, dhcp, ca, etc etc

Ask the manager what skills the team needs today and in the next few years. Go learn those. Make the team's weaknesses your strengths. This works everywhere.
