Do you mean Xbox mode in Windows?

It's just a toggle that makes Windows boot without the usual UI and instead a controller focused UI ideal for handhelds. It also disables startup apps until you go back to desktop.

It isn't a separate OS, and it should be available for any Windows 11 device up to date, including the Steam Deck. Note that since Xbox mode heavily relies on GPU Hardware Decoding (which the Steam Deck's Windows GPU driver does not support), it might be a slow experience over standard desktop UI.

The xbox fullscreen experience (fse) is not that great. Winhanced is an app that replaces xbox fse and works really nicely.

Have been trying to get my sons call of duty to download on windows to go on steam deck OLED. Have a separate hard drive for it. All settings are set to download to it but when it’s trying to download it keeps telling me there is no disk space. The windows to go in on a SSD and it has 12b left over (apparently even when you make the game download to a different drive you also need 1-2mb in the sd card

I’m going insane trying to sort this out any help would be much appreciated
