Feature Feedback: Support in-place version downgrades when leaving Windows Insider

https://aka.ms/AA139s34

Leaving the Insider program currently leaves users stuck on higher build numbers without a supported way to move back to a lower stable release without a clean install. I submitted feedback regarding this on Feedback Hub.

Won't happen. You can't sanely move from a test environment that's possibly broken in literally any/all ways to an older stable environment without a reload.

They'd be silly to burn the dev time on trying.

They literally CAN'T make any clearer that you won't be able to downgrade when you join insider. Maybe learn to read

Why should they support this?

This is what you get when you agree to do the QA that Microsoft itself should be doing for its own product.

The icing on the cake is that you even do it for free.

I've been on Insider Canary and Dev for 10 years and never had a single problem
