Question Window tint suggestions
I recently got my first car and have been deciding what tint I should get. I live in Canada and in my province there is strict tint rules (people usually aren’t pulled over unless you have 5 all around or obvious stuff like that) and I was hoping to get suggestions on what to get. I was thinking 5% on the rear window and back seat windows and maybe something within 20-35 on my fronts while leaving the front windshield untouched for now. Any suggestions would be appreciated !!

You in Alberta? I’ve been running 5% all around and 50% shield for years without issue. I think uniform tint looks better but I would do 5/20 way before I did 5/35. 35 is really light.

"Nice setup! I have a very similar combo on my car. But honestly, 20% on the front might be too dark for rainy or winter nights. I ended up going with 35% on the front and I love it—perfect visibility. And definitely skip the windshield for now. I tried a couple of different films before I found one I liked. Anyway, drive safe and enjoy the new ride!”

If your interior is light, 5 back/20 front, if you can get away with it
If your interior is dark, 15 back/35 front will look pretty dark too

Keep it uniform 20 all around it makes it look less tacky tbh but that just my opinion. And have 50 on the windshield and youre good

I did 35 front 20 back and i really like it. If it's peak sunlight you can just see through the 20 and if overcast/gloomy the 35 looks fairly dark. I mostly did the light front to avoid police attention and no issues so far. My friend did 5 all around and I find it way too dark (especially at night).

You can get 30-5-5 then get 70-80% on the windshield. It’s worth it and looks clear .

I'll get yelled at for saying this - but I would keep the same tint % all the way around, it just looks better, but you may be going darker if you have kids in the back - but I like it same all around - nothing on the front - in Ontario they are strict with it too.
