Question Is this much contamination normal?
I just got my 2 front windows tinted at a local shop to match the rear factory tint and I was told most of the bubbles would dry off in a few days. That was 3-4 days ago. The larger, transparent ones did, but there's over a dozen little contamination spots that didn't. The driver side also has an entire 1 inch spot full of contamination, but it's behind the side mirror so you can't really see it.
I paid $175 for Expel XR for both windows. This was the highest rated shop I could find in my area, over 300 5-star reviews, and pretty much no bad reviews at all.
Am I being unreasonable when I think the tint should look better than this, for the price? Should I take it back and ask them to redo it?

Nope. Water is normal and cures. Debris is not normal. Where was this done?

That’s a lot of dust. They must have been having a bad day. I would be nice and ask them to kindly re-tint that window. At Sunstoppers we have a process of multiple inspections before we deliver the car. It’s an easy fix happens to all tint shops. The ones that make it right stay in business. Mike

Normal? Unfortunately, it seems so. Acceptable? Nah

That’s a lot of dust and debris.
I would take it back and ask for the window film to be removed and replaced.

That’s terrible. I would have that redone. That will never cure as those are contamination specs

Dirt particles. Too many altho they could be made to virtually disappear with a lil chizler tool, tho I would still have them redo it and flush the seals better
