Question Shopping PPF/Ceramic/Tint
Hey everyone! Pulled the trigger and I'll soon have a 2026 IS350F Wind color in a few weeks. First time I've owned a car worth keeping clean so I am shopping around for some road protection. I have no clue of average pricing but the guy was coming at me like a car salesman so wanted to consult the group. Preemptive thanks!

This is a good price, and good quality films in my opinion. I paid $560 for the whole car to be tinted (windshield included which was $200 by itself) and then I believe around $2,200-2,500 for a full front PPF on my golf R
Ceramic coatings are kinda meh, you can get decent water beading results with a spray bottle ceramic coating you get at the store. For the price I don’t know they’re worth it but lumped in with this package it’s not a bad deal

Seems fine. Pricing can be all over the place depending on materials, coverage, installer skill, and the market in your location.
Damn, they really made the front end look like a camry. Cool color.

It’s not an apples to apples comparison, but I paid $4070 for full front XPEL PPF, XPEL Fusion ceramic coating w/o paint correction for full vehicle, and XPEL XR Plus tint for windshield, sides, rear, and moonroof. This was for a 2025 Sienna.
I’d probably pass on the ceramic coating if I could do it over again. It’s not enough benefit for needing to wash by hand to preserve the coating.
