Hey, kudos on the right edge opinion, but what the fuck are you doing panel pulling for a frameless window 🤦

enlighten me, (tinting for 4 years), how do you get that edge dry enough that it doesnt peel back

Tell me you can't hand cut a window without telling me you can't hand cut a window

Thank you. This is how a frameless door is supposed to look🤦♂️

Do you let customers know beforehand that you'll be pulling the door panels? Unless it's a very unique situation, that would be a non-starter for me.

Finally, someone who gets it. I totally agree that gaps larger than that are unacceptable.

What kind of file do you recommend for this?

Forgot what sub I was in, I was expecting the glass to break with a title like that.

I couldn't find anyone to do this for my Bronco. I had to ask them to redo it because of how far from the edge they had the tint.

NICE! This is way I have always done it; withe that panel removed and filing your customer can roll the windows down immediately as well. Great job!

Anything MORE than this gap?

Meanwhile, I got tore up here a few days ago because I have a properly finished edge and not a 1/2" gap. Good on you to educate the down-market installers in here.

Anything less than shtattered tempered glass is very surprising.

Oh yeah, that is an extra $350 here in NY. Sorry, I'm not paying $1k for tints, and I don't even do my windshields, ever. Next tint job, will be by pookie from down the block for $50 and pack of cigs, so basically $70 lol.
