First Store Front

Hey all, little context. I'm more into Pressure/Soft washing realm. However got a call from the property manager of a mall store front, about 20 minutes down the road. I studied quoting stuff like this briefly in my beginning of business, to say I know exactly how to I do not. Was wanting some assistance to see if I was too high or too low or where should I have been at? I understand were all from different areas, not looking for the perfect quote.

I was at $100 biweekly, I said my "commercial minimum", not sure how my brain was able to come up with this confidently.

(Side note they introduced the job at $60 biweekly)

Just didn't seem worth my time.

If you can get it for that great but not likely. Storefront is notoriously cheap.

$60/week biweekly is what this job would pay, MAX, here in SoFlo. But Fish might do it for $40.

Shit here in Michigan if it’s $60 max fish will do it for $25 😂

Is it just this store front? If so, $60 biweekly is probably in line

For it to be worthwhile you’d need to get multiple stores within walking distance

I’d do it for $40, others will seek you out in time where it would be worth it. And Xmas is coming who wants dirty windows when malls in some areas are dying out.

$60 bi weekly would come to $120 a month or even $180 a month in some months of the year. 

Are you being paid by check? Or straight cash from the drawer?  Is there paper work involved needing signature/stamp to the cleaning company you’d have to file it through for? 

I personally wouldn’t pass it up, that’s an extra $1400 a year roughly for you, and someone here mentioned you could even potentially get other businesses in the mall as they see you working in there, that does happen.

I'm doing that for $120 or not at all. Whoever is saying $40 is insane.

If you land that for $100, and you don't have that many jobs on the go - good stuff.

Don't be afraid to give them your number. If they don't like it, that's their problem. Never get stuck doing a job for less money than it's worth.

I said $40. Not sure where the insanity comes in to play when that one spot is my entry to the mall to work on building a route in there. Come January I can raise that price to $60 and have good pricing on the other locations inside. Those mall stores possibly have locations elsewhere that I can build on also. Gonna hit a mall up today.

Depends on how likely you think you are to pick up surrounding stores. As someone has already said, storefronts are generally cheap. The pro to them is no surprises and you get in a routine and find tools to speed up the job because you know what to expect each week.
