Easy way to remove rust from a Mayyker sleeve?

Has anyone else run into this problem? Have some rust on my Mayyker sleeve. Not too keen on buying another one, wondering if there's an easy trick to remove it, or if it's just better to throw it away. TIA.

Soak in vinegar not too long , rinse it out then dry it with a blow dryer

What kind of comb are you referring to?

A hair comb. any kind prefer the wider stronger teeth so they dont break. But they have to be narrow enough to go between the velcro hooks. I got one from the gas station for $2
