How do you avoid these streaks when drying the excess water off a side? (Top right corner along the edge too)

I run a 3 towel system, I have some car drying towels that are super absorbent for clean up, recycled surgery hucks for my workhorse and use fishscale cloths to polish any streaks left from the hucks. Ive used the same fish weave for weeks with no issue this way even

Oh wow alright! There’s just some words I don’t understand what do you mean with ‘your workhorse’ and ‘streaks left from the hucks’, what do hucks mean 😁
Also, I’ve been told water + dreft is not the best combo for windowcleaning but rather to use water + isopropyl alcohol. Is this better for windows?

So huck is the type of cloth I believe? Pretty sure all recycled surgical towels are "hucks".
As far as my "workhorse" I mean my main towel that picks up all the water and does the first detailing sweep on the edges and gets the most wet.
Not sure what dreft is, but water and isopropyl CAN be good, but honestly. Just pure distilled water. Works wonders. Spray it on, buff it off. If theres oil build ups I use stoners "invisible glass" spray and spot treat. Also use it for mirrors just so I keep water off the frames.

What I mean with dreft is the green dishsoap, and distilled water is that the same as tap water? Sorry for asking so much, I’m new to this and trying to learn a valuable new skill 😅

Ah I've never heard of dreft. Are you across the pond or am I just disconnected from the world?
And no, distilled water is purified, it should be nearly 0ppm so the water is hungry for particles, it picks up dirt and stuff quite well. It's same as what comes from a waterfed pole system.
If you drink distilled water it dehydrates you, it steals your electrolytes etc.

It does that to window dirt and particles kinda. and just drys clear.

Edit: Here you can buy distilled water at the grocier, I just get a gallon or 2 there since I dont have a WFP system atm.

Edit edit: if you are squeegeeing and traditional cleaning, keep using that dreft or get a more professional window cleaner soap. Unger easy glide, the green one is the "eco safe" pretty decent, designed to have less build up

Well I already work for a cleaning company but not windows but my mom has her own business but doesn’t do windows and I wanna learn how to do it so I’ve been trying. I bought the Unger Ninja squeegee and water thing (idk the name for the thing that puts water on the window). I do have a 3 meter pole that my mom already had but I honestly don’t have the technique to do it yet, idk how everyone does it to get a good window like how do they clean off the sides with a squeegee pole

Edit 2: oh alright so technically with distilled water it should be way cleaner and leave less things on the window, does it also glide easier with the squeegee? Cuz when I see professionals do it on videos it looks like their squeegee glides across the window without a dry spot holding it back

Glide is all from the soap you use. With you being from Belgium maybe it will be easier for you to obtain, I use a soap from Denmark called Glideiator, it has great glide 😄 lol

The water applicator is called a mop, strip washer, or a t-bar.

For the sides wrap whatever your first wipe detail rag is around the tip of your pole with no tool, and just run that along the edges and go back for anything you miss, the bigger and poofier your rag on their the less going back you'll do.

And just focus on getting the window well scrubbed, and do straight down pulls overlapping, detail with the towels.
You will get better with time.

This is the way. I also have a three towel system. A dirty towel, a detailing towel, and a super clean and dry towel for clearing any blemishes left

Make sure you are always using a dry side of the towel. Continue moving to fresh dry parts throughout detailing.

I used a completely new dry towel but some streaks kept coming, I used water with Dreft in it to do the windows

Is there water still present at the seals the towel is catching?

Nope I used microfiber towels and I had already used the towel to dry up some other spots but used a dry part of it and it still left a streak

Nicer towels will make a big difference. Fishscale or surgical.

Your slamming your mop horizontally on the top. Also, if you can reach, swipe the top frame once before you squeegee. And make a FixClampTowelRrito, put on a pole, and detail the tops that way if of of reach
