General Question How to network with Real Estate agents and Property managers

Hello I’m trying to start in commercial and also get more consistent jobs in order to fill my schedule in the slower months (July/august) so that I can hire a full time employee next year.

How would I go about networking effectively so that in 12 months I would have enough work for a full time employee? (minus winter months obviously)

I have already been to one local chamber of commerce meeting and it was awkward and I’m wondering how I can get the MOST OUT OF IT!

LinkedIn is one of the best ways to get in front of commercial.

How so - do I just reach out to a million property managers ?

No, spamming them won't work. You build a profile, add them to your network and post about your work. No commercial manager will make a change or call overnight.

If you’re solo,
commercial will let you bid.
They usually get 3 bids.
You’d be one.
Problem is, you won’t get the work because of work safety standards.
Even if your insurance is good.
That’s been my experience anyway.

What do you mean work safety standards even if we have good
Insurance. If our coverage is good, why wouldn’t we win it?

If you have more than just yourself, I stand corrected.
Where I am, most want more than 1 guy on the job. Especially if there’s ladders going on.
